Areas of Support
The Seminary for Insight, Research, and Transformation forms scholars, chaplains, and servants of the community through the integration of theological knowledge, applied research, and pastoral formation. Philanthropic support sustains that work across the Seminary's three pillars and the institutional foundation on which they rest. Gifts made through this page are unrestricted, which allows the Seminary to direct them where the need is greatest.
Engagement and Community Education
The Seminary's community courses offer sustained instruction in the Islamic sciences, human development and leadership, and service and community life to adult learners in person and online. Support keeps enrollment fees within reach, underwrites the Seminary's free public programs, and ensures that cost does not stand between a committed student and rigorous study.
Research and Scholarship
The Research pillar brings classical Islamic scholarship into conversation with the questions of contemporary life. Gifts fund the preparation of curricular materials and practitioner resources, the Seminary's Journal, and scholarly projects that contribute to Islamic intellectual and pastoral life beyond the Seminary's own classrooms.
Formation in Pastoral Care and Leadership
Formation prepares students for service in pastoral care and community leadership through a shared foundation of theological study, contemplative practice, and supervised application. Support advances the design of rigorous curricula, the development of faculty mentors, and the field partnerships through which study is joined to practice.
Faculty and Institutional Development
Gifts strengthen the Seminary's faculty and learning resources and support the governance, assessment, and quality assurance expected of an institution of graduate education. These commitments safeguard the integrity of every program the Seminary offers and the trust of the communities it serves.
Tax Status
